Im interested in getting a Memory item, what do i do?

You can check my instagram to see if my orders are open, or the link on the website (under Memory Bears ) to pay a £10 deposit to secure your order. The deposit is per person not per item so please only purchase once, The deposit will go towards your order total at the end of the project.

When that is purchased, i will reach out via email so you can post your garment(s) to me, we will have a quick discussion regarding your requests, once happy i can start your order. If you need your order for a specific date, please let me know as soon as possible so that we can talk through the process. I will do everything i can to hit that date, but i will also be up front if that is not possible.

I placed an order, what happens now?

Once you place your order, we'll talk through exactly what your items will be, and you'll send me the items to be turned into your memory bear. Before i make any cuts into your garments, i will ensure that we are on the same page. All unused fabric can be returned along with your finished order if you wish. I will always take the utmost care when working on orders for my clients.

Once your Bear is finished i will share pictures and once you approve i will then post the item. 

How many garments do you need to make a Bear?

Here is a general breakdown;

I can typically get one bear from one Large T-shirt or sweater. If you don't mind the bear being pieced with different fabrics i can get two bears from two items of clothing. If i can cut it i can sew it. I do not work with animal fur or leather. If you had limited fabric we could use purchased fabric and use what you have as an accent piece on the bear. Any enquires about anything on this page please email, i am happy to answer any questions no matter how big or small. 

My space is a smoke free, pet free work space.

What are the Bears made from?

The bears are lined with 100% polyester wadding and stuffed with 100% polyester hollow fibre filling. Bears are slighted weighted using non toxic high quality sand. this is safely encased in a lined pocket of wadding. 

Where are you located?

I am located in Forncett St Peter in Norfolk. I only accept orders at the moment currently in the UK. 

How do i get my items to you?

People usually use Royal Mail service (signed and tracked) but how you decide to post them is entirely up to you and at your own risk.

I always post the items back using Royal Mail (signed and tracked 48) this is £6.65 and will be added on top of the cost of the bear. Bears are £45 before shipping.
